SIMCHA LEAVES
In Jewish tradition, trees have long been regarded as a special source of inspiration. The Bible speaks of the beauty of the cedars of Lebanon, the stately palms, the olive, and the fir, as representing the very wonder of God’s creation. As our Simcha tree’s branches grow and flourish, so too do the connections of our families to each other and to future generations.
Whether you’re celebrating a birth, B’Mitzvah, graduation, wedding or anniversary, you can mark the special occasion with the purchase of a Simcha Leaf to add to our Tree of Life in the Oneg room outside our sanctuary. It is a meaningful way to create a permanent commemoration!
MEMORIAL PLAQUES
Many of our members have chosen to purchase plaques in memory of their loved ones, for placement on the Memorial Boards in our Sanctuary, where a light is lit each year on the anniversary (yahrzeit) of their passing. If you choose to order a plaque, their name will also appear in our Book of Remembrance that is printed each year and distributed on Yom Kippur.
